Best Free Press Release

Greetings AMSB peeps, Got a quickie for ya, I am helping a local architecture firm with some SEO. What is the best way to get a press release out for free and have it show up on the first page when people Google "Santa Barbara Architect" or other main key words? Many Thanks, Micah

Press releases are a great way to get some free links. The press release itself will probably never show up on the front page of google, but it will provide some valuable links back to your architect's website that could improve organic rankings. When you write the article, make it newsworthy and have a catchy title. If your story gets picked up by a journalist, and republished by a local news outlet, that will help your site tremendously. If it's obviously self promotional, you won't get the extra benefits of redistribution.

prlog is probably the most widely distributed free press release, but there are some others.

And of course if you're willing to pay, these two can't be beat
