crowd sourcing How do I set up the site?

I just started listening to your podcasts. I love the idea of crowd sourcing. I have an embroidery business and would like to use the same idea as threadless except I would offer hats. How do I set up the system? Can I just use my email list and blog attached to my website? Can you direct me to where I can get help with that?
