Using Adwords to determine best pricing?

I'm starting a subscription blog and don't quite know the best way to go about pricing. I've heard of using Adwords to market test different prices and track CTR to a muse site. Has anyone tried this technique with success or have any advise? I'm open to trying new techniques if there are any fresh avenues.

Thanks, I like their approach. The only thing that eludes me is how they knew their competitors Price-Per-Click for each term and what position each rate would give them. Does Adwords give this info or did they learn it through trial and error?
