Odesk agencies - Are they ok or should i use workers who apply themselves?
Hi all,
Just posted a job on odesk, and within minutes i have 24 applications. All came from agency members. I had a few come in later in the day from non agency members.
Do odesk worker join agencies so that when a job comes up the agency instantly fires off applications based on keywords or something?
And is it still ok to use someone thru an agency on odesk, or should you choose someone who has read the post and applied on their own?
Is this a good question?

If they are only associated with a group on oDesk, there may be no need to be concerned. But you do want to have direct employees instead of somebody working for someone else so make that clear when you interview them. I would only reply to those who have responded on their own.
