Subscriber News Website?...
I was wondering what is the best way to run a news website with paid subscribers? I would like to be able to have a customized design, good/easy to use cms and easily allow/manage my subscribers.

First thought, that seems like a tough racket. Lots of free competition already out there. I would try something a bit more specialized rather that just "news" in general... Maybe news about horses, drag racing, Coast vacations, etc. A topic or news to a topic that is pretty specific.
