Inventory web-based software Control

Hello! I'm looking for a simple, web based software to control the products I have in stock. I sell both on-line and to small retail stores and my ecommerce store only manages the products I have on line. Does any one recommend one?

Is this a good question?

I don't have personal experience using it for inventory control, but I have a colleague who uses Quickbooks (the accounting software) and highly recommends it. It may be an ad on to the standard accounting package. The great thing about it is that it integrates the inventory functions with other things like general accounting, point of sale systems, and merchant services. If you're only after inventory software it may be more than you need.

Hi, I use Quickbooks premier in australia and it is only good if you are offline. I run an online business (teas.com.au) and all of our sales are generated online. So stock really needs to manage online and quickbooks is not able to capture the data from our website. after stocktaking, all item count has to be entered into quickbooks, and separately onto website. You can imagine how messy it gets.

I actually saw your post because I am looking for a better solution than QUickbooks. We have looked at Ostendo and Simms and both can get the programme to talk to online database so inventory can be accounted for both online and offline, but both come at a HUGE customisation cost.

So I am still stuck. Netsuite I had a friend just implemented at her work and importing data from existing software has become a major dog's breakfast as even the netsuite people don't seem to be able to iron out all the wrinkles before live date.

I used QB and used a program call Acctivate to manage Inventory. It's a great product, but it's not web based.
