iWeb?
It sounds like Wordpress is the crowd favorite for building a scaleable function web site....but I have to ask: has anyone used iWeb to build a decent site? I've built a basic personal site with iWeb & I have to say it's super easy to get up & running quickly. Apple's software is appealing in terms of 'ease of use' but adding additional function seems limited. Any thoughts on this?

One of my current product sites is built using iWeb. It's OK as a quick and dirty solution, but I'd much rather pay a proper designer to do a Wordpress site with back-end CMS so I can add content without having to mess with the code, etc. Yes, iWeb is limited but there are many ways around it's limitations. One of the best sites I've found that address these issues and show you cool solutions for iWeb is http://iwebunlimited.com/ . Check them out.
If you do decide on Wordpress, get yourself a designer experienced in designing AND building Wordpress sites. One place to start looking is www.elance.com and http://themeforest.net/
