VA vs. Blog/Article Writer

Hi All-

I'm new to the site and podcast, but loving all the great content. Thanks!

Question- Is it wise to have a separate person designated as a VA and one designated as a blog/article writer? Or is it best to have one who can do both? I currently have a writer I found on oDesk who is amazing, but she only does the writing. I'm looking to add a part-time VA soon for other tasks like my Twitter updates and other admin duties.

I think it's perfectly fine to have different people doing different things. I do sometimes try to cross train people so that they understand how their job fits in to the big picture (I think that helps morale), and they understand how what they do affects other people's jobs too.
