Checking wordpress content on iphone - Building a wordpress "testing environment"
I am wanting to setup a second wordpress site that is just used as a shell to take posts from the first. I am wanting to do this so I can have one version optimized (formatted) for mass content checking and the other for the public.
I am am using either my iphone (itouch) to check posts or the website (which is currently not suitable for the general public because it is not presenting the data in a pleasant manner (but is good for checking)
Any ideas?

Theres a really good plugin called Wordpress mobile pack, or is it mpexo?? I'm not 100% sure but I know one is dependant on the other. Now that I think of it, If you install mpexo first you will need to install wordpress mobile pack in order to get it working, or vice-versa. You can theme your wp-installation just for mobile devices without having to change the main theme of the site, you can also test the theme on virtual devices in the plugin that will show you exactly how the mobile theme will be displayed, and if there's any problems the plugin will help you identify them and give tips on correcting them. You can also manually add more device manufacturers to extend the flexibility and usablity of the mobile theme to a wider audience. It also adds a "switch to mobile site" url in the footer which is handy.
It's a pretty expansive plugin so you'd really want to download it to test it out for yourself. I have it running on my site but I haven't tested it fully or delved to deep in to it as it really was just an afterthought and not that high on my to do list for the moment, but I'm sure you'll find it useful.
Let me know how you get on. :D
Thanks I'll have a look
