Google Gsites: Using it for internal Q&A and procedure and processes documentation

We have setup Gsites because we are on the google platform as the place where we post the documentation for internal processes, Q&A and other. I wanted to know what your experience has been with this?

  1. Are others using gsites for this purpose?
  2. Are there other solutions that you recommend?
  3. Do you guys have samples of how you have it setup? I think this is the most difficult part, we are trying to figure out how others have setup theirs.
  4. How to implement a Q&A section
  5. What format to list the information for the procedures
  6. Can you setup permissions for different sections; ex accounting procedures to be viewable by only the accounting dept
